Okay, I know this is a poet group, but here's a short story I wrote. It was strange walking past the houses of my childhood. One light was on in the Baptist church window and figures moved around inside frantically. Neighboring the church sat a tiny almost cottage like house, with white stucco sloppily smeared. Funerals always make me thirsty. Sometimes I geet headaches and nosebleeds, or I cry, but I always get thirsty. I didn't know her that well, but the last time I saw her, about a month ago, she looked upset and I wish I had stopped to make her smile, told her she looked pretty today, or at least said hello... I wrote a color. It is beyond happiness and bliss. It rushes over your face in the summer. You close your eyes and smile in it's presence. It is playful innocence. The essence of all that are young. A sweet taste that dances on your pallet and tongue. The citrus bite of fruit. It is the enticing joy that gets you in trouble for being out past dinner. But be weary, for it is also caution. My Bio

I showed my friend Debbie some of my writing and she suggested that I put it here. I write a lot, from emotion. Most of the time writing is the only way I can get things off my chest when my pride refuses to let me cry. Well enough with that gay shit.

I'm Navajo, from Arizona, never seen the ocean. I'm 20 years old. I'm about to start my last semester of Film school. I work in film in broadcast production as a grip/cable wrangler/camera op. It's a lot of fun and I've made so many good friends in the process.

I've only been in love once and I didn't have the courage to admit it, not to say that that's the reason it ended, but it's been 8 months and my brain is still trying to figure out what happened. I think too much. That's why I like weed. It doesn't make me stop thinking, but it makes me think about other things, in ways I never thought possible.

Aside from writing I'm also an acoustic guitarist. My guitar is my favorite thing in the world I will defend it as though it is a part of me. Even if it's a cheapo. It's my cheapo.

Life is good though, and its getting better.
